Architecture Students Engage in Envision Resilience Narragansett Bay Challenge A team of School of Architecture students led by Julia Czerniak, associate dean and professor and Professor Ted Brown have spent the last five months immersing themselves in the culture, values, history, and peoples of two towns on the banks of Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island, as part of the Envision Resilience Narragansett Bay Challenge, which called on university students around the country to develop adaptive and creative solutions to sea level rise. more

Architecture Student Awarded Bernice Hogan Prize, Dean’s Citation for Excellence Parker D. Klebahn ’22 (B.Arch), a dual major in Architecture and European History, has been named a recipient of this year’s Bernice Hogan Prize by the Department of History in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs for his undergraduate European history thesis, “ENSANGUINED: Architecture, Militarism, and Slave Labor in the Nazi Monumental Building Program.” more
