Architectural education is unlike any type of education you’ve likely encountered to date. Due to the nature of studio culture, we highly encourage our prospective students to visit while school is in session for the full, immersive experience.

In-person visits

The School of Architecture will offer in-person, architecture-specific information sessions on Mondays and Fridays at 11:00am ET through August 23. These sessions provide a general overview of our program and will be conducted as a walking tour of our facilities.

Advance registration is required to determine staffing and capacity. Please email us at with the following information:

  • subject line: “Visit”
  • student’s name
  • anticipated year of graduation
  • date you would like to visit
  • number of people in your party

We highly recommend that you to attend one of our online information sessions to learn more about the application process, portfolio submission, and our program as a whole. Register using the link in the next section.

The Office of Admissions will be offering weekday campus tours. Led by a student ambassador from our University 100, the tour will provide you insight into academics and what it’s like to be a student on campus. Space is limited and advance registration is required.

Virtual Information sessions for prospective students

Sessions last 1.5 hours and include information on the educational path of an architect, our BArch program, studio culture, the application process, and portfolio submission.
