Architectural education is unlike any type of education you’ve likely encountered to date. We highly encourage you to attend one of our architecture-specific information sessions online or in-person.

In-person visits

General Weekday Campus Visits

The School of Architecture offers in-person, architecture-specific information sessions on Mondays and Fridays at 11:00am ET from May through August.  These sessions provide a general overview of our program and a walking tour of our facilities. Please note that the University will be closed on May 30, June 20, and July 4. The School of Architecture will not be hosting visitors on Friday, August 26 due to new student orientation.

We encourage you to attend the architecture session as part of the full “Campus Visit” with the Office of Admissions at Syracuse University. For more information and to register click here. When you register, you’ll have the option to select a school or college information session. Our available 11:00 a.m. sessions will be listed at the bottom of the form.

Fall dates will be announced later this summer.

Orange Previews

On the following Fridays during the summer months, the University will be hosting Orange Preview open house days: July 29, August 5, and August 12. These open house days are large-scale, amped up versions of the daily visit! Learn more and register here

Virtual Information sessions for prospective students

Sessions last approximately one hour and include information on the educational path of an architect, our BArch program, studio culture, the application process, and portfolio submission.

Online sessions will resume in August. Check back in July for updated registration links.
