Ane Arce is a Spanish architect and co-founder of BeAr Architects, a Bilbao-based architecture studio that explores the possibilities of architecture as a discursive practice.
Their work has received significant recognition and has been widely published in national and international specialized media. Notable distinctions include the Peña Ganchegui Award 2019 for Best Young Basque Architects, the Egurtek Award 2020, the COAVN Awards 2025, as well as various recognitions in FAD, Arquia Próxima, and BEAU. In 2025, they participated in the Spanish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale as one of the selected teams for Internalities, and their Zubitegi Park is nominated for the EUmies Awards.
In addition to her practice, Arce teaches and frequently lectures at universities, institutions, and conferences, contributing to contemporary architectural discourse. In 2025, Arcewas named as one of the best architects under 40 in the 40under40 list by the Chicago Athenaeum. She graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Navarra in 2014.
