Daniel Jacobs is assistant professor of architecture at Texas A&M University and co-founder of the research and design collaborative HOME-OFFICE. His work explores the relationships between architectural technical assemblies, environmental mediation, and climate futures.
He is the editor of the recent volume Architecture as Environmental Media: Rendering the Planetary (Routledge, 2026).
Jacobs holds a Master of Architecture from Yale University School of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. Daniel is a registered architect in Texas and New York, and prior to co-founding HOME-OFFICE, he practiced as an Associate at SHoP Architects in New York.
