Iñigo Berasategui is an architect and co-founder of BeAr Architects, a Bilbao-based architecture studio that explores the possibilities of architecture as a discursive practice.
Their work has received significant recognition and has been widely published in national and international specialized media. Notable distinctions include the Peña Ganchegui Award 2019 for Best Young Basque Architects, the Egurtek Award 2020, the COAVN Awards 2025, as well as various recognitions in FAD, Arquia Próxima, and BEAU. In 2025, they participated in the Spanish Pavilion at the Venice Biennale as one of the selected teams for Internalities, and their Zubitegi Park is nominated for the EUmies Awards.
Alongside his professional practice, Berasategui is actively engaged in teaching and cultural dissemination. He has lectured at universities and institutions, participated in conferences, and directed activities and programs at both local and national events such as BIA Forum and Mugak. Since 2024, he has been teaching Design Studio I and II at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the University of Navarra.
He graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Navarra in 2013, earning distinction for his final project.
