Situated within a major research university in the state of New York, Syracuse University School of Architecture is one of the oldest architecture schools in the U.S.
We offer three degree programs: a five year professional undergraduate course of study leading to the B.Arch; a three-and-one-half year professional graduate course of study leading to the M.Arch ; and a one-and-one-half year course of post-professional study leading to the MS in Architecture.
Representatives from our school will be in China this fall from October through November. You are invited to meet Fei Wang, associate teaching professor, Director of China Programs and M.S. program coordinator, Dean Michael Speaks, and Daekwon Park, undergraduate chair, in person and Vittoria Buccina, assistant dean of enrollment management virtually, to learn more about our programs.
Under current federal policy, graduates of our B.Arch, M.Arch and M.S. programs who are studying under an F-1 visa are eligible to apply for a 24 month STEM extension to a graduate’s 12 month post-graduate Optional Professional Training (OPT). About Syracuse Architecture
Our undergraduate program is increasingly global in the students it attracts and in the locations and experiences of our off-campus programs. A course of study grounded in a rigorous design education, students are exposed to historical, theoretical and technical aspects of the discipline.

Undergraduate application process
Admission to our program is competitive. The undergraduate application process to Syracuse Architecture is two-fold. All applicants must apply to Syracuse University and submit a portfolio to the School of Architecture.
