Lizabeth Cohen

Lizabeth Cohen is the Howard Mumford Jones Professor of American Studies in the History Department at Harvard University, as well as a Harvard University Distinguished Service Professor. She is the former Dean of Harvard’s Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study and former Chair of the History Department at Harvard, director of the undergraduate program in history, and director of the Charles Warren Center for Studies in American History. Her most recent book is Saving America’s Cities, which revisits federal urban renewal by following the career of Edward J. Logue.
