Hiroshi Kaneko runs an art and architecture practice in Los Angeles and New York. He is currently co-producing a work with Los Angeles Dance Project where he is designing the set for a contemporary ballet piece choreographed by Shu Kinouchi that explores the spatial politics of bodies and walls. He has previously worked in the offices of Studio Shamshiri, Tatiana Bilbao Estudio, Allied Works Architecture, and Davies Toews Architecture.
He holds a Master of Architecture and Master of Design from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he completed his thesis on the architecture of camps in America, and holds a Bachelor of Architecture form the University of Oregon.
