Tim Berresheim is a leading figure in contemporary computer-assisted visual art. In his work, he explores the effects of digital technologies on visual culture, living and working conditions, and modes of perception and cognition. Berresheim works are exhibited worldwide and can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Collection of Contemporary Art of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bonn) and the Kunstpalast (Düsseldorf). He lives and works as a visual artist and musician in Aachen. Berresheim studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Albert Oehlen and at the HBK Braunschweig under Johannes Brus.
