School of Architecture: Family Weekend

A welcoming event for current students and their families

The School of Architecture welcomes parents and families of our current students to visit campus on Saturday, October 9 for an inside look at our B.Arch. curriculum and your student’s progress thus far!

Our programming will begin with a Dean’s Welcome and academic presentations at the K.G. Tan Auditorium in Syracuse University’s new National Veterans Resource Center (NVRC), Daniel and Gayle D’Aniello Building.

This event will be live streamed on Zoom. If you cannot join us on campus, please register below and state that you will be joining from afar in the comments. A link to the Zoom meeting will be included in your confirmation email.

Afterwards, we will move to Slocum Hall for refreshments and student work exhibitions. Faculty will be on hand to welcome you and answer questions.

ARC 181 Representation Professor Valeria Herrera will be premiering a class project titled, “Good Trouble, in Motion” in the Slocum Auditorium.

Join Colleen Oliva, Career Development Specialist, in the Slocum Hall Auditorium for a School of Architecture Career Service Overview.

Meet Brian Konkol, Dean of Hendricks Chapel, for programming about “Spirituality with a Busy College Life”. This session will take place at Hendricks Chapel on the quad.

If you have already registered for Family Weekend with Syracuse University’s Parent and Family Services, please register for this event as well. We would like an accurate headcount for this event.
