The Assistant Dean for Advancement and Strategic External Partnerships is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising plan for the School. This role involves directing and coordinating the School’s engagement efforts both domestically and internationally, with a focus on increasing support for extracurricular academic programs. Additionally, the Assistant Dean manages the School’s advisory board.
The Assistant Dean serves as the liaison between the School and the University Division of Advancement and External Affairs, collaborating with various university offices, including Alumni Engagement, Annual Giving, Corporate and Foundation Relations, International Advancement, Gift Planning, and Major and Principal Gifts. At the School level, the Assistant Dean designs and builds collaborative opportunities with staff and faculty colleagues to enhance the success of the advancement program.
