Masters in Architecture from Columbia University
Khadija ann Tarver is an artist, architect, and researcher curious about practices of fugitivity in the lusophone diaspora. She was the 2023-2024 Fulbright fellow to Brasil where she studied set design, Black aesthetic production, and world building practices of Black Baiano theater. Her artistic practice poses questions on power and listens for direction and force.
Khadija graduated from Columbia University with her Masters in Architecture and received the Ali Jawad Malik Memorial History/Theory Honor Award, Alpha Rho Chi Medal, and the William Kinne Fellows Traveling Award.
