Kurt Streich is an architect and educator whose work examines architecture as a form of infrastructure, using data-driven visualization and material experimentation to explore its agency within political, social, and environmental systems. Streich practices in New York City and has led projects with institutional clients like New York Public Library, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Touro University, the City University of New York, and New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Prior to joining Syracuse, Streich was an Assistant Teaching Professor at the University of Colorado Denver and has taught part-time at Columbia University, Parsons School of Design, and New Jersey Institute of Technology. He has served on design juries at Cornell University, Barnard College, the City College of New York, and Pratt Institute, and holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture with a minor in political science from the University of Minnesota.
