Faculty panel discussion
The “Other Practices” discussion is an occasion to draw out and highlight design work and diverse forms of practice being produced by new faculty members at Syracuse Architecture. “Other” locates a position and a mode of operation in relation to architectural discourse and practice that is different and distinct. The “Other” describes ambitions that are projective, alternative, additional, supplemental, and extra-ordinary. Ultimately, the “Other” is concerned with the continual interrogation and evolution of the discipline and practice of architecture and its traditions, conventions, and institutions.
