Buildings for People and Plants
This lecture will focus on WORKac’s latest book, Buildings for People and Plants, which explores 10 recent projects that weave together the interconnected realms of architecture, environment, and social sustainability. The work is a call towards a renewed faith in architecture and design’s potential to engage with the public, cultural and civic realms in new ways. With projects across the U.S. and around the world, the lecture will reflect on the practice’s deep engagement with local cultures, climates, and histories, as well as on WORKac’s love of reinventing how we live, work, learn, and experience the world together.
