About Face
LAMAS lecture “About Face” will present their recent work through the lens of facade composition. They’ll explain the role that composition plays in their built and unbuilt projects but also in the historical context of the discipline. The lecture culminates by describing an ongoing theoretical project called Delirious Facade. This project explores the potential for using artificial intelligence to synthesize hybrid facade designs in a digital dream state. Somewhere In the background are issues of architectural labor, our response to the climate crisis and architecture’s relation to the real estate market.
