Mariah Smith is an artist and designer. Her practice explores the role of visual representation in the production and contemplation of tactile, domestically-coded environments.
She earned her Master of Architecture from Princeton University 2020, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. In 2024 she co-founded Rag Rug Study Group, a collaborative research project, platform, and archive that places reworked textiles in dialogue with contemporary art, design and architecture practice.
