Hermine Demaël is an architectural designer and researcher. Her work investigates the political ecology of building practices and the role of architecture in our transitioning energy landscape.

She earned a Master of Architecture and a Media + Modernity Certificate at the Princeton School of Architecture, where she was the recipient of the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Prize and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from McGill University. She has worked in research labs and architecture practices in Paris, Montréal and NYC.
