Marco Armiero

Marco Armiero is the director of the KTH Environmental Humanities Laboratory and the current president of the European Society for Environmental History. He has worked on the nationalization of nature, migrations and environment, and environmental justice. With his research, he has contributed to bridging environmental humanities and political ecology. Armiero also holds a position as Research Director at the CNR ISMed, in Italy.
