Sandra Manninger


Dr. Sandra Manninger is an architect, researcher, and educator. Born and educated in Austria, she is a co-founder of SPAN. Her award-winning projects have been published and exhibited internationally, including at La Biennale di Venezia, the MAK, and Autodesk Pier 1, and have been included in the permanent collections of the FRAC Centre-Val de Loire, The Design Museum/Die Neue Sammlung in Munich, and the Albertina in Vienna.

Manninger has taught, among others, at the IAAC and ESARQ in Barcelona, TU Vienna, the University for Applied Arts, the Bauhaus in Dessau, Penn Design in Philadelphia, Taubman College, and the University of Michigan.

Currently, she serves as Associate Professor at the School of Architecture & Design (SoAD) at the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).
