We thank you.
In the midst of this unprecedented time, our highest priority is the health and safety of our School community. This includes all of our students, alumni, faculty and staff, families and friends. Many of you have inquired how you can assist during the COVID-19 pandemic and we are grateful.
Our promise to our students is to continue to deliver the best world-class architectural education that they expect from Syracuse, and we will. If you would like to support the School during this time, a gift to the Friends of the School of Architecture Fund will provide relief to students with unforeseen travel expenses, access to technology for ongoing remote education, as well as other unanticipated hurdles during this difficult time.

Gifts to the Friends of the School of Architecture Fund are of paramount importance as they directly influence our students during their time on campus. They provide the fuel for everything we do. This discretionary fund allows the School and dean to allocate funds to areas of the greatest importance. Examples include travel trips for studios, investments in technology resources, and hosting world-renowned guests and lecturers. To make a gift to this fund, you can make a gift online using a credit card.
Also, please don’t forget about corporate matching gifts. Through the generosity of company and other matching gift programs, your contribution to the School of Architecture can be increased. By matching employee gifts, businesses ensure that their charitable resources support causes important to their employees and the community. Contact your company’s human resources department to see if they offer a matching gift program.
Slocum Hall Enhancements
Gifts that are directed towards Slocum Hall are utilized to update the technology and furnishings in the building, enhancing student experiences in studio.
Critical to the education of an architect, these gifts enhance a student’s ability to travel and study in our New York City center, our Florence and London study abroad programs, and participate in other short-term travel study programs.
A variety of naming opportunities exist at the School of Architecture. You can give to an existing fund or, if you wish, establish your own. Named scholarships, professorships, lectures, awards and visiting critics can be endowed at the School of Architecture. Learn more here.
