Syracuse University and SUNY-ESF students are invited to celebrate Women’s History Month in Slocum’s King + King Architecture Library for the Wikithon event.
A collaborative event with Women in Design, the library, and Professor Lori Brown, join us in writing more female designers into Wikipedia.
Students will learn to edit Wikipedia pages and practice their academic research, writing, and editing skills for design-related topics. Following a brief tutorial, students will collaborate to expand Wikipedia’s coverage of women designers, and architects. Snacks will be provided.
The event is open to all interested students; sign-up beforehand is preferred.
