Through the creation of a Thesis Yearbook, we hope to capture, remember and elevate all that the fifth-year students have accomplished this year through this new medium.
We need your help!
- Share wishes of congratulations and accomplishment on Instagram and Twitter using the hashtag #SyrArch2020 (make sure your posts are public). These laudatory messages will be shared each day below on our social wall, as well as during our on-campus Commencement 2020 activities.
- Send us photos from your thesis project experience by clicking on the upload button below.
- Moved by this new initiative and the response from alumni like you, Mark Boekenheide ’82 (BArch), has committed a challenge gift and will match all gifts that are donated to the Friends of the School of Architecture up to $10,000.
Let’s give this class, and all classes to follow, a journal that memorializes the remarkable experience we have all undertaken.I ask that you please consider joining me in funding this effort, as we celebrate our fellow SOA graduates.
– Mark Boekenheide
Thank you for helping my class and future classes have the incredibly important resources we need to reach our highest potential.
–Ema Scheifele, Class of 2020
Inspired by Mark’s generous gesture, Robert Halverson ’97 (BArch), has committed a second challenge gift in support of the Class of 2020 and will match all gifts that are donated to the Friends of the School of Architecture until June 30, up to $3,500.
This situation should not be ignored and I believe we have a responsibility to support this new tradition. A year end journal that will not only celebrate and document their time at Syracuse University, but also highlight their transformation as young talented architects, will become a benchmark for future generations to understand the history of our school through the work of our talented students. I ask that you please consider joining me in funding this effort, as we celebrate our fellow SOA graduates.
– Robert Halverson
