Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at Syracuse University’s School of Architecture centers upon fostering an environment that supports diverse ideas, students, faculty, and staff. The school is committed to developing strategies for creating a more inclusive spaces of learning, a more diverse curriculum, faculty from a broader range of backgrounds, and a student body reflective of the world’s changing demographics. We fervently believe our students must be at the forefront in designing the built environment that supports all races, ethnicities, genders, and abilities and we commit to the ongoing work this requires to evolve the school, our community and the discipline.
