Gregory Melitonov holds a Masters in Architecture from the Yale University School of Architecture and a Bachelors of Science in Studio Art from Skidmore College. He recently received the MacDowell Fellowship in Architecture.
In 2013 Gregory founded Taller KEN along with Inés Guzmán. Taller KEN is focused on playful design with social and cultural relevance.Based in New York and Guatemala, the MWBE firm works internationally, embracing local context and diverse partnerships to create an architecture with broad support and appeal.
The studio has been widely published and has received several accolades, including the Architectural League Prize and the New York, New Practices Award from the American Institute of Architects.
