Tung Nguyen
Instructor

Tung Nguyen joins the Syracuse University School of Architecture faculty as a Part-Time Instructor in Fall 2022. He will teach courses in the Architectural Design Sequences.

Prior to joining Syracuse University, Tung was a teaching associate and teaching assistant for several courses at Columbia’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, including courses such as Core Studio and Advance Studio Design.

Tung’s research focuses on Architecture of Care, which resonates with his view on design ethics as it celebrates the relationship between the built environment and racial and social justice, gender equity, climate change and early-development and well-being for children.

Tung Nguyen was awarded the William Kinne Travel Fellowship when he graduated with his Master of Architecture from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation at Columbia University. Prior to GSAPP, he earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M School of Architecture.
