DesignIntelligence 2017 rankings: Syracuse Architecture Undergraduate #3; Graduate #8

Our B.Arch program has been in the top 10 every year since 2004. After re-entering the top 20 in 2015, this year our graduate program has reached a ranking of 8th in the nation.

DesignIntelligence 2017 has officially published its rankings for America’s Best Architecture Schools. DesignIntelligence is the bimonthly journal of the Design Futures Council and considered the leading source of school rankings within the design sector. The annual rankings are based on a professional practice survey completed by leading architecture and design firms, as well as responses from architecture students regarding the quality of their education. This year’s rankings reflect improvements from 2016 for both the undergraduate and graduate programs at Syracuse Architecture; the B.Arch program rose from #4 to #3; the M.Arch program has reached the top 10 list at #8. The program was #11 in 2016 and #16 in 2015. Dean Michael Speaks was named one of the year’s “Top 25 Most Admired Educators.”
