Interviews take place on Fridays. Please see the right sidebar for open dates. These dates are scheduled before our spring break (March 12-16, 2018) so that you may invite students to your firm for second interviews. Rather than a career fair, this is an opportunity to pre-select interviewees and conduct full 30- or 45-minute interviews. Interviewing begins as early as 8:00 am on Friday.
There are no fees for the recruiting days. Also, if a visit to our campus is not possible this year, you are welcome to contact the students directly to invite them to visit your firm over spring break. Another option is a “Skype” interview. Students are prepared to share their complete formal portfolios with you, both printed and via web links.
The on-campus recruitment process is in full swing for 2018. Many firms have posted internship and full-time positions on OrangeLink, and students are in the process of applying by submitting their resumes and sample pages. For the time being, sample pages will only be visible to employers if students have applied to their job postings. The overwhelming popularity of spring on-campus recruitment has filled Friday interview dates to capacity, however firms interested in interviewing on campus or posting an employment opportunity may contact Susan Call.
Friday interviews will be conducted in the interview suites at the Schine Student Center. If you have time, you are welcome to explore the studios in Slocum Hall. Some employers also like to block out time on Thursday afternoon to visit the studios to see thesis projects in process.
If you are interested in visiting our campus, please let Susan Call know the date you prefer. We are limited to a maximum of eight interview rooms each day, on a first-come-first-serve basis.
