Benjamin Vanmuysen joins the Syracuse University School of Architecture faculty as a part-time instructor in Spring 2022.

Prior to joining Syracuse University in 2019 as the 2019-2020 Harry der Boghosian Fellow, Vanmuysen practiced architecture in offices both in the USA and Europe. He worked at Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Reiser+Umemoto in New York and the Office for Metropolitan Architecture in Rotterdam. His own work has been exhibited at the A+D Museum in Los Angeles, 2017 Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism in South Korea, Collectif Rosati Arras in France and his writing has been featured in PLAT, Fresh Meat and [Trans-] Journal, amongst others.

Vanmuysen obtained his Master of Architecture from Princeton University and B.Sc. Engineering-Architecture from the KU Leuven.
