MFA, Rhode Island School of Design; B.Arch, Syracuse Architecture

Valerie Herrera is an artist and designer who works in a variety of media and creative disciplines. She holds a B. Arch from Syracuse Architecture and a MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Valerie has taught as both an instructor and teaching assistant at RISD in drawing foundations. While at Syracuse Architecture, she won the James Britton Prize for Outstanding Thesis.
