Molly Hunker is a Wyoming-raised designer and educator. She is co-captain of the design and research collaborative SPORTS with Greg Corso. The work of SPORTS aims to reconcile the intelligence and sensibilities dormant in the crafty, cute and commonplace with that of the high-tech, couture and complex. So far in its short existence, SPORTS has built several small-scale projects and received high recognition for a number of competition entries. Molly has worked for architecture studios and art workshops along the west coast including Talbot McLanahan Architecture, Doug Aitken Workshop, and The LADG. She previously taught at UCLA, Woodbury University, and most recently, The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) where she served as the inaugural 2013–2014 Douglas A. Garofalo Fellow.
