Legally the only way AutoCAD can be used on school machines is within the CADCluster or the CADLabs where software management software can be run.
Faculty may install it on an individual faculty machine in their office but the school must buy a separate copy and the school retains ownership of it.
If faculty want to run a copy on their own machine at home then they should get their own copy,  through outright purchase of the software.
