| MODELING: The final project, Phase 4, The final results. Yes I know it's a very short time, but it's really very very easy.
It's just rendering the model that you've already made.
OK. Let's keep this simple.
Send via email or deliver on zip disk the following:
- The final version of the model. youruserid.550.projectname.phase4.fmz
(Note that this is most important part. Any submission without a model will be considered
unacceptable.)
- If you created any symbol libraries they must be included youruserid.550.projectname.phase4.libraryname.zlb
- If you used a formZ standard symbol library and did not
modify the definition, they you do not need to include the library.
- Eight images (times two, one at 100 pixels
across (yes, 100 pixels, not 130) and one at 700, for a total of 16 images).
Note that the images may be either .gif or .jpeg files. Choose the most appropriate.
Make the appropriate substitutions for names.

For the images themselves:
- All images are to be be shaded using RenderZone.
- Set rendering type to Full Raytrace.
- Set Decompose Non-Planar surfaces to Yes.
- Set Shadows to Yes.
- Set Shadows to All Transparent.
- Set Transparencies to Yes.
- Set Super Sampling to Yes.
For images where a background will show up, set the
background to be something other than the default white. If the model is somewhat abstract
and monochromatic, the background should be a gradient, from light at the bottom to dark
at the top. If the model is more realistic, you might want to set the background to be a
sky, complete with clouds. If you want to make a night image, set the background to a
gradient with darker colors and turn down the ambient light level. |
