CP-connector The famous connector piece, developed by Fox. It allowed the rapid erection of the structure. It also allowed the easy and rapid disassembly.

The cast iron truss is shown on the left. The "claws" of the connector peice provide a shelf at the bottom so no temporary rest is required. Wedges are driven in at the upper and lower claws, providing a quick mechanical connection.

The plan at the bottom shows that the columns were hollow (and used as a part of the drainage system). The exterior had four flat sides which facilitates the attachment of partitions.
