Selection
PROCESS
In September, the competition's selection committee will meet and review the received booklets. Up to three teams will be identified to compete alongside the four invited firms. The competition will get underway in October with boards due in December. At that point, the jury will meet and review the work submitted. Projects will be ranked and the winner will be announced at the opening a few weeks later in January 2009.
CRITERIA
Booklets will be reviewed based on the following factors:
- quality of the work of the portfolio section
- creativity, issues, insight, and analysis contained in the sketchpad
- composition and experience of the firm or team submitting
- quality and clarity of the booklet overall
Criteria for the review of the competition submissions in December will be included in the packet to be distributed to the competing teams in October.
