Computer Accounts
SUSOA Network Accounts (or user accounts) are necessary to use the Architecture computer labs and to utilize the Pay-Per-Use Plot/Print Services offered by the School. This account is separate from the SU NetID account.
To obtain an account, students must be currently enrolled as an Architecture major and are required to participate in an introductory orientation that will demonstrate the correct usage of the hardware and software offered in the labs. Upon completion of the orientation session each student must fill out and submit an account request form (available at the orientation). Accounts will usually be ready for use within 24-48 hours, and the student will receive a confirmation email when it is ready. The username will be the same one used by the University in their e-mail system (NetID). The student will be supplied with an initial password.
Account holders agree that they have read the Computing Policies section of the White Book or Gray Book as well as the White/Gray Book addendum entitled SUSOA Computing Acceptable Use Policy and Practices and agree to conduct themselves in a professional manner when utilizing the computing resources of the School. The account holder understand that if they violate any of the policies or guidelines their SUSOA Network Account (or user account) may be terminated.
